The agency and tutor coordinate on the work, with the tutor focusing on teaching.

How it differs from going solo

As an independent tutor, you manage everything yourself — finding work, agreeing terms, and delivering training. Under an agency, some of that coordination is shared with the agency, so the way you find and manage work can differ.

What to expect

The exact arrangement — how work is assigned, how communication flows, and how earnings are handled — depends on your agreement with your agency. Clarify these details with your agency directly so you both have the same expectations.

FAQs

Do I have to work with an agency?

No. Many tutors work independently.
