Getting this right at the start protects you, keeps the tutor motivated, and saves a lot of back-and-forth later. If the tutor wants different milestones, they can counter-propose on Messages before accepting &mdash; once accepted, the structure is locked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"filling\">Filling out the hire form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hire form (opened from the tutor&rsquo;s <strong>Hire Now<\/strong> button) asks for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Course title \/ topic<\/strong> &mdash; what you want to learn (e.g., &ldquo;Python for data analysis&rdquo;).<\/li><li><strong>Course description<\/strong> &mdash; a few sentences on goals, your starting level, any deliverables.<\/li><li><strong>Number of sessions &amp; session duration<\/strong> &mdash; e.g., 12 sessions of 60 minutes.<\/li><li><strong>Schedule preferences<\/strong> &mdash; days\/times you&rsquo;re available.<\/li><li><strong>Total fee<\/strong> &mdash; the price you&rsquo;ve agreed with the tutor (often discussed first on Messages or in a free demo).<\/li><li><strong>Milestones<\/strong> &mdash; the split of the total fee into chunks, each with a title and amount.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The milestone amounts must add up to the total fee.
